In Heaven

Home with the Lord.  Keem, whom we called S’s mother, had a chronic progressive disease for several years. A few of us from the church went each Sunday to her house to visit her, sing and have a Bible study. Last Sunday she was very weak. This Sunday morning we received word that she just went home to heaven with Jesus.  We went to her house to visit her husband and three children. She had requested a Christian funeral. However the relatives insisted on a Buddhist funeral. So sad. But understandable since she was the only Christian in the family as far as we know.  Many of the ceremonies in a Buddhist funeral seem to be trying to protect the surviving family and friends from evil spirits.

Praise God for Kim’s life and home going. Pray for her testimony to continue to impact people for Christ.

Pray for her family to turn to the Lord.
