This week the
request for the renewal of our church permit is being submitted in Phnom Penh. It
is not easy to secure. Please pray for the people involved with this process
and for a smooth granting of the document. It is required by the government in
order for the church to continue to be legal.
I have bus
tickets to travel to the capital on the 11th and return with Hannah,
a short term nurse, on the 14th. Please pray for the people I plan
to meet with while in the capital, and the errands to be done there. Pray for
Hannah as she travels and then adjusts to the 12 hour time change. We are
looking forward to great fellowship and seeing the Lord work in special ways
during her month here.
One of
Hubert’s English students, P., is understanding more and more about the gospel.
We pray she will soon accept the Savior. We had a great talk together after the
evening service last Sunday. It was the first time that her brother also came
to the service. God has given us contact with her whole family several times recently. Praise Him.
