Praise God
for T. who accepted Christ on Monday. Please pray that she would grow in
Christ. Pray that we can visit her again to teach her. She was among the patients and families at one
of our mobile clinics at an island town. It had been an adventure getting to
the town via fishing boat in the rain. But the people gathered in the school
room and listened well to the preaching of the gospel morning and afternoon.
Many sick received medical care. We thank God for the medical team from the States
and the Cambodian Christians witnessing. God provided the needed translators.
Tuesday and Wednesday were also busy clinics in other towns. On Thursday after
driving three hours on muddy, difficult roads, we reached a stream too deep to
ford and had to turn back without doing a clinic in that mountain town. Pray
for God to continue to work in hearts of people touched during these two weeks
of special outreach that there may be more fruit for eternity. The USA part of
the team has been a great blessing to us. They are on their way traveling back
to the States right now.
Please pray
for my papers for renewal of permission to do medical work in Koh Kong. The
papers are on the way to the Ministry of Health in Phnom Penh now.
